The female Pit Bull mix orients toward an unfamiliar dog, crawls forward lowering her body to the point that she is lying down, lurking. The male moves closer at a walk, exhibiting a rear approach. The female stands up and orients toward his head, then swerves aside, licks her nose, and again exhibits a rear approach. The female spins around, blocking the male's attempt at olfactory exploration, and the two dogs face off. First the male, then the female, both bows, the female swerves aside and re-orients frontally. The male spins and leaps forward twice, the second time jabbing the female with a paw. The female rears up, re-orienting in a frontal stance; the male averts his gaze, licks his nose, glances at the female then bows with front legs wide open and attempts a jaw punch. The male again bows with front legs wide open, then leaps toward the female who swerves aside, rears up and then re-orients in a frontal stance. Both dogs then bow with legs splayed wide open; the male moves away and the female follows him, leaping forward with front legs wide open.
