Nose nudge

The dog approaches another dog and then lightly touches or nudges his opponent's body with his nose.

The male Labrador cross approaches the female Cane Corso and displays a nose nudge to her head.

 

In this encounter between two males, the tan dog moves into position T1 while approaching the black dog and then displays a nose nudge to his shoulder.

The tan mixed-breed male encounters a grey female crossbreed and a male Lagotto. The bitch displays genital olfactory exploration, then gives a nose nudge to the shoulder of the mixed-breed, who moves away. The Lagotto moves closer to the mixed-breed, assuming T1 position and displaying a nose nudge to the shoulder, provoking an aggressive reaction: the crossbreed displays a growl-bark and a jaw punch with mouth open. The Lagotto stops in a lateral stance and, when the mixed-breed again approaches, re-orients frontally. The mixed-breed male moves away; the Lagotto again assumes T1 position and twice displays a nose nudge , then attempts to mount the mixed-breed, provoking a reaction. The female approaches and sniffs the mixed-breed male, and the Lagotto displays a nose nudge and attempts mounting. The two males face off, and when the Lagotto attempts to display chin over, the mixed-breed displays a jaw punch and swerves aside. The Lagotto assumes T1 position and again displays a nose nudge; the mixed-breed reacts with a growl-bark and launches a frontal attack. The Lagotto stops in a lateral stance and, when the mixed-breed approaches, re-orients frontally and nudges him repeatedly with his nose. The mixed-breed reacts with a growl, jaw punch and leap with legs spread wide open.
