Showing neck

The dog stands slightly tall near his opponent and, in moving his head away from the dog, displays his neck.
NOTE: this behaviour has been included in the Ethogram of Agonistic Behaviours as a defensive behaviour used to forestall or prepare for an attack to the head - see: arched neck.
