The sub-adult Irish Setter x Labrador cross runs up to and then alongside the adult male mixed-breed. The younger dog attempts to stop the adult several times; the adult reacts by orienting his head and gaze toward the younger dog. The sub-adult tries to knock him down, then stops the adult, displays obnoxious submission and, spinning around, gives a jaw punch, displays chin over, and attempts a hug. The adult tries to avoid him, and attempts to leave the interaction; when the adult reaches the fence, the younger dog interposes himself and displaces him, then prevents him from marking with urine. The sequence is repeated a further two times. The adult then ignores the younger dog and marks at the fence; the sub-adult hits him with a jaw punch and stops him, and the adult male again marks with urine while the younger dog displays anus-genital olfactory exploration.
